Hi I did install the Container Station and Docker exactly as Roon teaches, but it didn’t wrok, server still Stopped. That’s why I post and ask for help.
I did run another software to play music prefectly in no time.
There is no point in looking at the old, now defunct, Application’s configuration window anymore - it will stay stopped! Please got to the App Center and stop the old Roon Server application showing there.
@Yu_Alex - if you don’t have a Roon generated backup of your RoonDB (and you care about recovering it so you can preserve your play history / playlists / ..), don’t remove QNAP RoonServer APP in “App Center” yet; only stop it.
Hello @Yu_Alex
Thank you for reaching Roon support.
To resolve the connection issue after setting up Container Station, please follow these steps:
Disable the Old App: Go to the QNAP App Center and manually stop/disable the old Roon Server application to prevent conflicts with your new Docker setup.
Select a New Server: In your Roon Remote app, do not wait for the previous connection to resume. Click the Select a different Roon Server button.
Authorization: Choose the new server instance that appears. You will likely be prompted to log in and “unauthorize” your previous native QNAP core to transfer the license to the Docker container.
Provide an update once you have attempted to manually select the new server instance.
