My core system is running in Qnap and using now 100% chip capacity. I’ve observed this phenomenon after qnap kernel/os actualisations. Before it, the chip has been consumed only max 65%.
My Qnap memory 4GB, and 2xSSD M2. and 2x4TB HDD

I add that the same chip utilisation level I see when I don’t have running any roon clients, only core server.

Hi @Marek_Laskowski,

Welcome to the forum! What model is the QNAP, does it meet our Minimum Requirements (especially with CPU) or does it fall under this spec?

If your database is large, it is possible that Roon is using more resources than the QNAP can provide. I would also suggest checking Roon Settings -> Storage to make sure you don’t have any unused storage locations accidentally turned on.

Thank you for quick response
My QNAP model is HS-453DX (4GB Rams + M.2 SSD etc) meets all the recommended requirements. I’ve chacked situation after 7 hours my roon server running and I see that now chip utilisations is only 2-3% even that 3 roon clients using roon core now on my Qnap.
I suppose that after Qnap system upgraded and roon server run again, its need more time to for instance again indexin proces or something similar. Nevertheless my roon infrastructure is now again on perfect condition.
Thank you again for your help.

Glad to hear that the system is working as expected now, yes Roon does use a significant amount of resources when first performing the import.

According to the data sheet, it looks like this QNAP uses a Celeron Core, meaning you might run into issues if your library grows. I would keep this in mind if your library size grows.
