· On the Qobuz tab, I can browse albums, but none of them open I tried logging out of my account and logging back in—it didn't help. Tidal is working perfectly. Roon Server is installed on Windows 11 26H2. Roon version 2.73 build 1696
Sorry, it looks like this is my problem—the 26H2 update was ready but hadn’t been installed. After installing it and restarting, everything started working.
We see the Qobuz API returning account errors in the most recent logset:
09/28 12:56:09 Warn: [qobuz/media] could not get playback info for 202:0:188868953: Result[Status=Unauthorized, ErrorText=Sample url returned]
09/28 12:56:09 Warn: [qobuz] account error
This particular snippet is in response to a request for playback of a catalog object, rather than full non-library albums from Qobuz, but it’s entirely possible they’re both symptoms of the same cause.
Do you experience any issues in the Qobuz native player or web player? What about any flags on their account page (same link as above should take you there)? This will test whether the account issue is limited to the API authorization pathway.
Are you able to play full tracks from Qobuz in your Roon library from another pathway, like the Tracks browser? Do you have any issues loading playlists that contain Qobuz content in Roon?
I just stopped and restarted the Roon Server on my Windows 11. Qobuz is now working. I’m sure that if I check in about 20 minutes, it will stop working again.
What is the specific error message you see, if any, when you attempt to start playback of a library Qobuz object in Roon? Do you rely on a VPN to use the Qobuz native player and the Qobuz service within Roon? Diagnostics indicate that the Qobuz API is failing due to geo-restriction in some cases. In other cases, the connection times out.
By all indications, this is a geolocation enforcement or state network filtering issue upstream of Roon. Unfortunately, that’s not something our team is positioned to assist with.
