Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! We see that you’ve recently swapped a few different machines to run Roon Server - we’re you testing out to see if your Qobuz issue appears across multiple devices?
Has this happened suddenly and recently? Have you made any recent updates to your network or network security? Sometimes Firewall/VPN interference block or delay upstream requests, causing timeouts.
Are you able to share a few specific albums that appear to be missing?
Thank you for replying. I run Roon Server on my Nucleus Titan and have not changed it. I add new albums from Qobuz regularly. Sometime during the last two weeks (while I was away from home) a lot of the albums added in the last few months stopped showing up in the Roon “My Albums” list but there are many that still do. When I go to the Qobuz tab all of the “favorites” are still in the list but the ones missing from the Roon “My Albums” do not have the small symbol that shows they are in the Roon library. I have not made any changes to my network and, when this happened, I was away on vacation.
The number of missing albums is significant covering all different genres of music. I cannot pinpoint from what “date added” they disappeared but I noticed that many that are in the “My Albums” now show a date added of 25 August 2025 (while I was away) even though they are albums that I added a long time ago.
Hi,
I did do that and it does seem to be sync’ing and many (maybe all) of the missing albums have reappeared but their “date added” shows as Aug 21 2025 (which is during the time I was away) so it is difficult to tell if any are missing since they are totally out of the original date-sequence!!
Curiously, the date sequence under the My Qobuz tab “favorite albums” is still what it was before this issue so it is hard to tell if the sync is complete.
Regards.
If you navigate to your ‘My tracks’ then use the focus tool > storage locations > Qobuz
This should give you your total number of Qobuz tracks added to your Roon library. Take this number and then compare it to what you see within the Qobuz app itself, and let us know.
I can see how to get the count of Qobuz albums and tracks in the Roon app but I cannot see how to get it in the Qobuz app (I can see my favorite albums but no indication of how many there are)
I have been able to compare the number of albums in the Qobuz app and in Qobuz albums in my Roon library and they are the same. It seems that the missing ones have all reappeared with a date added of 21 Aug.
I’m glad to hear all your music is back - you mention there’s a newly added date on the 21st of August. We’re unfortunately unable to go back that far to review diagnostics, but I do see a handful of different machines running Roon Server. Do you think there was a chance you were swapping machines and databases around that time?
If you’d like to restore your original date added from a specific server, you’ll need to restore a saved backup from that specific machine.
We’d be happy to help you further with this - let us know!
Thank you for getting back to me. I am surprised that you see different machines running Roon. As far as I know I only have it running in my Nucleus and that is the only one I back up.
Thanks for clarifying that aspect. We’ve asked the dev team to review your diagnostics to see if they can provide some insight into them, but it would really help to know a few albums impacted by this, are you able to provide screenshots of a few examples? Let us know, thanks!
Of 1169 Qobuz albums, about 120 seem to have Aug 21 2025 for the date added; all of them were originally added long before that date. I am attaching screen shots of some examples.
