The list of Qobuz favourite artists in Roon never changes and bears no resemblance to any of my favourite artists. How is Roon building this list? I can’t see anything in Qobuz either. There are some bands in this list that I never listened to.
Primary artists (and perhaps some very limited other credit roles) from the albums in your library get automatically added to My Artists.
There is no other way to add artists, in the way you can do that in the Qobuz app (and artists that you favorite in the Qobuz app independently of your favorite albums are ignored by Roon).
Usually if you see unexpected artists in My Artists it’s because they are unexpectedly listed as Primary Artist in one of your albums, perhaps although they shouldn’t be. Some albums have weird primary artist credits.
The artist list hasn’t changed for months and there are a couple in the list that I don’t recognise even if they had been guests on other albums. This wouldn’t be a problem if the list updated itself once in a while.
Please post screenshots with all details, so far we can only guess at what you are seeing.
If you are already sure that it can’t be right, open a case in Support because user discussions under the Roon Software Discussion category won’t achieve anything
I wasn’t completely sure if this was a Qobuz or a Roon problem. Will raise a ticket in Roon support.
