Qobuz integration malfunction in Roon 2.74 across macOS and ROCK (ref#V4BSIL)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· App interface looks or behaves oddly

Tell us what's going on

· Qobuz integration is malfunctioning in Roon 2.74 (build 1712), on both Roon Remote for macOS and Roon Server ROCK.

The following issues occur simultaneously:
- Qobuz search results are missing albums that are available in both the native Qobuz and TIDAL apps.
- Qobuz's “Taste of Qobuz” page displays “No results”.
- Qobuz playlists appear empty, even though they contain tracks in the native Qobuz app.
- Qobuz's Home page and other browsing sections are not working correctly.
- New releases were missing from artist discographies. Manually synchronizing the Qobuz library restored some albums, but did not fix the other issues.

Qobuz playback through Roon can work, so this is not a complete connection failure. Both Roon Remote and Roon Server report that version 2.74 (build 1712) is the latest version.

I have already tried signing out and back into Qobuz and manually synchronizing the library. I have also restarted Roon Server during previous troubleshooting. These steps have not resolved the browsing, search and playlist issues.

Please investigate whether this is a known issue with the Qobuz integration in build 1712 and advise on a specific fix. I have already submitted a previous technical support request regarding other Roon problems, so please also consider whether the issues could be related.

Tell us about your home network

· Roon Server ROCK runs on an Intel NUC connected to my home network. Roon Remote runs on a Mac. Both devices are on the same home network. Qobuz and TIDAL work in their native applications, and playback through Roon can work, but Qobuz browsing pages return no results and playlists appear empty. I have also manually synchronized the Qobuz library, which restored some missing albums but did not fix the other issues. I have not identified any network connectivity problem that would explain these symptoms.

Hi @wojciech.mulka.

Thanks for the report and for the details you provided. I checked on my end, but I am not seeing any issues with Qobuz loading.

Since playback through Roon can still work, this points to a browsing and library sync problem rather than a complete connection failure.

We have seen users have a better experience in the past if they change their Router’s DNS servers from the ISP-provided ones to Cloudflare DNS, Quad9 or Google DNS. Can you please give this a try and let me know if it helps?

Please keep an eye on the issue, and let us know if anything changes after the DNS update.

Hi @wojciech.mulka.

I wanted to touch base on this since we haven’t heard back from you. According to diagnostics, it looks like you are using a Polish Qobuz account with Roon. We are aware of an issue with Polish Qobuz accounts and we have a tracking thread for this here:

We’ll go ahead and close this thread, please keep an eye on the linked thread for any updates on this, thank you.
