This sounds like it could be the same issue I had and posted about this past week. It resolved on its own after about 24 hours. I tried logging out and back into Qobuz, refreshing the Qobuz library and then restarting Roon but it didn’t help. Qobuz had made some changes to their database the same day and several of my favorites had moved but not my entire Qobuz library. Good Luck. There was another thread that said the following worked:
Even a clean reinstallation from scratch doesn’t help.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for sending the logs — they’ve been really helpful. The good news is that Roon is actually connecting to Qobuz successfully in the background: your full library (8,305 favourite tracks, 767 albums, 6 playlists) is visible to the server and syncing without errors. The “We’re having trouble connecting” message appears to be a startup timing issue where Roon displays that warning while it’s still re-establishing the Qobuz session after a restart.
A few quick questions to help us narrow this down:
Hi Vadim
Not sure you are talking about my issue. I never sent you any logs and my issue is not connecting to Qobuz I can connect and it works. The issue is Qobuz does not sync any new albums added in Qobuz. I have tried logging everything out and logging back in and rebooting server. I would be grateful for a solution.
KIND REGARDS
RICHARD
I am experiencing the same issue since 2-3 days. When I add an album to Qobuz on the iOS or iPad OS Qobuz app and then manually trigger library sync for Qobuz within Roon Remote, the new albums won’t show. This behavior was different until 2-3 days ago, when I could have the new items sync’ed. With Tidal it still works.
It also still works the other way around: I can add an album to my Qobuz library within Roon, and it will be sync’ed and show shortly after in the Qobuz app.
Same issue here since several days… No sync of my new Qobuz favorites to Roon on the “main screen”…
Hi @Richard_B00rn and others,
Per what @CoralRad has shared above, does performing a manual cache clear help?
RoonServer/Cache/Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktopWe’ll be monitoring for your reply, thank you! ![]()
For me, the problem solved itself without my doing, the sync seems to be working again.
Hi @Alexander_Koch1, glad to hear it’s resolved on your end.
@Akio_Ito, @Richard_B00rn, are you still having sync issues? Please try restarting Roon Server once more first to force a background sync with the Qobuz servers. If that doesn’t help, let us know.
Thank you and we’ll watch for your replies.
Thanks, @connor for getting back. Indeed, for what I can see, Qobuz sync has been back to normal since about Thursday/Friday June 11/12. I am rebooting the Nucleus once a day anyway (to mitigate performance degradation), which also restarts Roon Server.
Hi
Thank you for your help it seems to be resolved now
Hi @Richard_B00rn,
Glad to hear it’s resolved! Feel free to reach out if anything else comes up.
