This has been a problem ever since I first started using Roon, so I don’t have much hope there is any kind of fix. What happens is, if I’m streaming music with Qobuz, then I press “pause”, the signal is cut out, the little light image goes dark, and upon restarting it can take several seconds for the music to resume playing. Is this a known problem? Is there any setting that can fix this? I’m using Roon for Apple Silicon and I have the latest build.

If I pause the music and allow the signal path to go out (which is just something Roon does and I honestly wish it didn’t, because Audirvana is able to keep the signal path active), then restarting playback takes several seconds for the music to start playing. Usually it’s 2-3 seconds, but sometimes it is longer. I think one time it took over 15 seconds to resume playing.
