Our development team has enabled an advanced diagnostic tool on your Roon Server - could you follow the below next steps:
Create a fresh backup of your current database
Restart Roon Server twice
We’ll need you to reproduce the issue on a fresh database with a fresh Qobuz sync, unfortunately - could you please follow the steps below to create a temporary new database:
As my Roon server is running on (Audio)linux, I do no t know how to do this.
However, I have a 2nd server with Roon installed, and that shows the exact same behaviour.
I can remove Roon and its database completely, and install from scratch, of course using the same Roon & Qobuz accounts?
But it would on your side you would need to re-enable logging on that new server!?
Would that work for you?
Or I can install Roon server on my Windows laptop!?
And sorry for this last question, as I really want to help getting this solved.
You say you are after the Qobuz-id.
The issue is with every album. To use @Geoff_Coupe terminology:
If I heart whatever album in the Qobuz Download Store, it becomes visible in Roon - Qobuz - My Qobuz It gets never added to My Library.
If I heart the same album in the Qobuz app (webpage), it always gets added to My Library (as well as to Roon-Qobuz-My Qobuz)
As explained above I have 3 Roonservers (of which 2 in standby, only used for test purposes). The behaviour is the same on all 3.
I have tried to apply the procedure as explained above and using WinSCP, I did find the RoonServer folder. However, I don’t have the correct privileges (at least using WinSCP) to rename the folder. So I am blocked unless you can guide me in using ssh - linux commands.
So I have installed Roon server on my Windowss laptop, with of course a complete new Roon DB.
I only imported 9 local albums and 1 Qobuz album was added automatically. Of course I am using the same Roon and Qobuz accounts.
In Qobuz Download Store, I hearted 2 albums:
Steely Dan - Aja & Fleetwood Mac - Rumours.
Going to Roon - Qobuz - My Qobuz , the 2 albums are immediately presented.
@benjamin
Sorry to insist, but is there anything you want me to do before I will switch over to my Audiolinux server to listen to music during the weekend?
Thanks for your feedback.
This will ultimately require intervention from Qobuz; their native app and web app currently have different exposure within the Qobuz API. The Downloads Store should function as a two-way sync, however. The team will escalate accordingly to Qobuz and keep this thread open until we have more information.
Thanks for coming back on this issue. It is clear that this is at the interworking/crosspoint between Qobuz and Roon. I tried to open a case at Qobuz but Qobuz support had no clue what I was referring at/talking about.
Just to provide a quick update, we brought this issue up with the development team today and we’ve put in a dev ticket regarding this. I can’t comment on timelines, but this is in their queue.
