Roon Core Machine

Win11 64 Pro, Lenovo X13s Gen 1 (NEW), Qualcomm Adreno 8cx Gen 3 display, 32GB RAM

Brand new laptop – Lenovo’s first fanless, I think.
All updates fresh, all drivers installed.
I get the WGL, OpenGL popup.
I’m at OpenGL level 1.1.
HELP.

Not the right device choice. Roon does not run on most ARM processors, only x86 and some Apple ARM. Qualcomm ARM, such as Microsoft Surface Pro X, is not supported.

Well, this is sad.
The software developer in me asks the following questions:

  1. is support for this display card expected soon (as in, in the next few weeks)?
  2. is there a 3rd party emulator/solution that can give the appearance of OpenGL 3.0?
  3. is there a way to run Roon without using OpenGL, e.g., via HTML?
