Question on DSP

By-track, by-album or output device DSP settings

I would love to be able to do parametric EQ for a track or album and save that in the Roon db. Example: Simple Minds’ “Once Upon A Time” would benefit from a little more bass hoomph, but I don’t want that for all my albums or as a default. Virtual Zones (Multiple Zone + Device + DSP Settings per endpoint/direct connected device)

Today Zone settings + Device Settings + DSP Settings are configurable only once per endpoint/directly connected audio device. This means we can’t have different “modes” with different combinations of settings for our primary endpoint/audio device. Same goes for any other setting combination available under Zone/Device/DSP. Switch Off DSP globally or per device

Hi! I find it rather disturbing that there is no way to switch the DSP function globally of or per device. Nice to have such a function of course, but do i need it ? Yes or No, let the user decide for which device, or just don’t use it at all… For instance the ruddy digital DSP volume setting for the Auralic Aries is still shown as a DSP setting even the voulme is controlled by the device itself and not roon, own bug report filed in the forum which NEVER lead to an answer, so let us please de…
