Thank you Dylan. Problem solved with aid of the sharing documentation you sent.
Found music files had been deleted from MacBook so tried “office” macmini again and I had been omitting the “.local” part of the host name. Connected straight away and playing with no interruptions so far.
One point, the preferences/share/options box showed admin name rather than username and that did not work but username did.
Confusing in that in the past I have connected without adding the “.local”.
I will let you know in due course if the interruptions start again or if all continues OK. Many thanks.
