Same for me. Using the same Pi 4, Ethernet connection…when switch to Dietpi from RopieeeXL, the pops went away. I am using HQPlayer NAA.

With the most recent version of RopieeeXL, I don’t hear the pops!
Good to know! I’ll have to run another test to see if the clicks are gone on my setup.
