I was wrestling with getting my raspberrypi streamer working with Roon and Tidal separately. Tidal doesn’t have a great implementation for raspberrypi. I ended up getting this working reliably but just using two raspberrypi’s. The Tidal connect is working via Docker. The Roon endpoint is just the curl command they listed on their website.
Now that they aren’t arguing over the ALSA control, things work great. I do have to change the input on my pre-amp. The SPDIF is better quality (iancanada) than the DAC (hifiberry) on the Tidal rpi.
But it’s solid for both: that’s what I needed.
