Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 10" support?

There is a new version (10") of Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 .

Are all versions (5", 7", 10") compatible ? Or a special support shoud be made ? (all interface scaled up, not packing more informations)

Note that the 10" display only works with the Raspberry Pi 5.

The 10″ Touch Display 2 is not compatible with Raspberry Pi 4 or earlier models, or with the Raspberry Pi Zero series.

PS. This has got to be a first. The GBP figure is significantly less than USD equivalent… thanks to a 25% US tariff on imports from China.

I don’t know. As I don’t have the device I’m not able to verify this.

Do you plan, and are you interested to investigate ? A big screen would be a major feature for Ropieee (as no HDMI screen connect is possible). Playing informations needs the biggest screen possible.

This is still a hobby project. And as long as I don’t have the hardware (and I’m not planning on buying this, as I don’t need it for myself), there is nothing to investigate.

I understand. Maybe one day a user will try it and bring here a good news : supported “out of the box” (on Raspi 5). But unlikely.
