Reconnecting Tidal to Roon

Spectrum WiFi 6 router. Spectrum EN2251 modem.

Connected Audio Devices

Intel NUC, ethernet cable, ethernet ReGen with separate Pwr Sply, Auralic Aires G1, Theta Casablanca IV, PS Audio Stellar M700 pwr amps, Vandersteen 5As. Access to Roon through Apple 8th Gen IPad.

Description of Issue

Roon says “Tidal Login Failed. Retry, Edit.” Edit Status says “Failed to connect . Please try again later. Logout, Retry, Done.” Useless.
Went to Roon Settings, Tidal, and get the Tidal Login Failed, etc, message again.
Cannot figure out how to reconnect Tidal with in Roon. HELP!
(Note: Tidal works on my Dell Inspiron 7520 with Windoes 10.)

Hey Tom, sorry for the trouble logging in to TIDAL! Could you try clearing the TIDAL cache? Here are some instructions (assuming you’re using ROCK):

  • Stop Roon Server from running in the Web UI
  • Find and open your RoonServer database
  • Navigate to RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon Server via the WebUI and verify if the issue still occurs
