· I need to recover my Roon account as my pc died and I had to replace it. I don't know my serial number as it has been much time since I installed my Roon on my original PC. I had to reformat my drive to reinstall. How do I get it again to do a fresh install?

· My router is an asus rt-ax88u pro. My PC is on a second floor from the router and has a realtek switch between to router and my PC. I have a number of other devices on my network but none of them are sitting between my that switch and the router.
Thank you for your post. As mentioned above, your actual Roon account information isn’t tied to your physical server, and you can easily spin up a new server on any other machine if you’re still subscribed to Roon. Just download and install.
First, review your account information here. Diagnostics indicate that the account on Roon Community from which you’re writing is tied to an expired Roon account. Do you have a separate email address with which you use Roon?
If you happened to store a Backup of your Roon database in a location that was not hosted on the PC, then you can restore the Backup to retain your database, including play history, custom settings, etc.
Otherwise, installing a Roon Server is quite easy. Here’s a guide for Windows. macOS and Linux are also listed elsewhere at this same link.
