Just to say my issue with only the first few seconds being played is resolved in the latest beta.

Some times RoPieee is freezing when I login by chrome browser. Maybe it depend on “Dynamic Audio Power Mgt:” I set 30 minutes? But right now I set 5 sek. and making a test.
DAPM is about ALSA and HATs. Definitely not responsible for freezes. It also only makes sense with HATs, not with an USB DAC

I use HAT HiFiBerry Digi2 Pro with Raspberry Pi 4 don’t USB Connection.
Just want to add that since end of last year when the system updated, I have been unable to play to my Allo Boss 2 / DAC hat via UPnP from Euphony Stylus software. I have trouble with DSD64 and some 176/24 WAV files.
My UPnP settings are:
Volume Control - hardware
DoP - On
After a few seconds, the files either stop of skip to the next track.
I haven’t been following some of the recent chats, is there a problem with the Stable or Beta versions of 2024.01.01 Ropieee?
On my Stylus software, I tried all the UPnP options - non-upsample, upsample only unsupported rates, convert to WAV. None of them help.
Is there anyway to return to the software prior to the 2024.01.01 update? The older one was mostly working with a few exceptions but far better than now. Some advice would be appreciated.
On the beta channel there is an update about upnp issues, you could try to switch to the beta
New stable release will be out in the next few days.

I switch my Ropieee settings for beta but the update isn’t happening by itself. Is there something I have to do to trigger the Beta update? From the Information screen I am on RoPieeeXL 2024.01.1 (1292)
This can take several hours before it shows up.
I downloaded again last stable software and I was formatted sdcard again, than I flashed firmware again.
Right now Ropieee has been working since 24 hours with out freeze and restart.
