Description Of Issue
I have an iPhone and an Android tablet. Neither can find or stay connected to the core.

I initially had the core on a 2013 MacBook Air. The devices would find it but constantly get disconnected.

Every time a song changed or more often than that.

I switched to a newer Windows machine. I deleted the apps on mobile devices and reinstalled. It can’t find the core unless I toggle the accept remotes connection than it can’t connect says failed.

Moving to support section.

Hello @jeff.holland9 ,

Welcome to the forum!

Since you are using a Windows PC, I would verify that both Roon.exe and RAATServer.exe have been added as exceptions to your Windows firewall.

You can use these instructions to add the exceptions and the executables themselves would be located in your Database Location/Application folder path.

I would also add these exceptions to any Antivirus or other Firewall blocking applications you may have and ensure that you connected to your network via a Private network, not a Public one, see this guide for more information.

How is the Core connected in this case, is it using Ethernet or WiFi? Any change in behavior if you to connect via Ethernet if on WiFi?
