REW room correction below 100hz leaving upper spectrum alone

Hi is it possible to use REW to just do room correction below 100hz leaving the rest of the spectrum alone… I tried doing global correction which adjusts everything but this negatively effected the sound stage…and did not sound as good…but the bass was much better…can anyone advise…

If you’re only after bass, would using parametric EQ do the trick?

Is there a way of getting Roon to play the REW sweep tone…

Thanks wow that is a long answer…but interesting…

Yes. I’ll post a video about this soon.

Cheers…I have acoustically treated my room in order to control really bloated bass. The result has hugely improved the decay times in the bass but only mildly changed levels… My aim is to apply a really simple parametric filter just to cover the sub 80hz region…but there is no use doing this unless I can test the results via Roon and REW. Hence my question to you…thanks for all your help so far…

Here you go, @Richard_Wilkinson

Absolutely brilliant thank you so much! When testing I found my filter was out by 8hz…moving the notch down by 8hz smoothed things a treat and it sounds great…could not have done it without testing back through Roon…cheers…
