ROCK upgrade error from ver1.7

Description of Issue

After installing Roon ROCK on my NUC, I tried to upgrade to 1.8 by reinstall.
But I got the following error message.

---[ end Kernel panic  - not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option. ]---

I also updated the BIOS but it didn’t make any difference, and I followed the instructions for BIOS settings.

I am seeing the following error in the logs: Couldn’t connect to update server: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway. Connecting to: https://updates.roonlabs.com/update/

Not quite, but there was a issue with Roon’s update service which is now resolved.
