Hi,

Thx for the pointer. Signing out of Qobuz and back in solved the issue.
Same strategy did not work for Tidal

After I got Qobuz working by singing out and back in, Iā€™m still having issues with Tidal.

This is what I ried so far without any succes:

  1. log out form Tidal - log back in - Tidal not working
  2. Stop client - clear client Cache - restart client - Tidal not working
  3. Stop client - clear core Cache - restart client - Tidal not working
  4. Stop client - clear client & core Cache - restart client - Tidal not working
  5. Stop client - clear client Cache - restart client - Tidal not working
  6. Log out form Tidal - Stop client - clear client Cache - restart client - Login to Tidal - Tidal not working
  7. Stop client - clear client & core Cache - reboot core- restart client - Tidal not working

Any suggestions are most welcome. Anyone at Roon following up on this ?

OK, had a look at the logs ā†’ see below

  • I see indications of network issues which I cannot attribute to the local network and internet connection as at the point in time of test I was playing some Qobuz music (not via Roon) to verify the local network and internet connection

Can anyone from @support have a look at the logs ? They should make much more sense to them than to me.

Happy to do some more testing if needed and if this would be helpful.

@support Upgrading to 913 solved the issue with Tidal. Nothing else was changed in the set-up, no cache clears, no reboots, ā€¦ just installing 913.
Please donā€™t break it again in your next upgrade.

Hello Mike,

Whatā€™s up with the fix to the Chromecast issue? As a reminder, Chromecast is effectively not working at all in Now Playing mode. Artist image photos that appear in the iPad remote do not get cast 60-70% of the time. They also do not scroll thru a songā€™s photo gallery. So whatā€™s the point?

I have regular listening sessions with friends who have become accustomed to a Roon experience that is both audio and video. Together, we have been totally bummed the last 3 months because the quality video experience has been taken away. And we canā€™t believe it has not yet been addressed.

Hi @mike , Iā€™m on Roon v 2.0 build 1311, but the waveform is still missing on Nvidia Shield Tv used as a display. Is the fix still not available since 2022, or is this a new bug?
