Roon 1.8 not allowing access through McAfee firewall

hardwired ethernet into PC. remote access on iphone through wifi

Description Of Issue

Old version of Roon has been working fine for past 2 years. Update to 1.8 created a failure (blocked by McAfee Firewall) preventing remote access with iPhone. Access permission has been set up in McAfee firewall for both RAATserver and Roon. The remote access will work if I turn the Firewall OFF.

Support - please let us know what protocols (TCP, UDP etc.) Roon uses and through which ports it communicates.

Application-level exceptions will need to be set up in McAfee. Can you confirm that there are exceptions in place for Roon/RoonServer and RAATServer? Can you share a screenshot of the exceptions?
