iOS update available in Canada now
Arc on iOS now available in UK
Still no signs of Roon remote
Remote iOS update out now
Same here. Thanks, Team!
Backup seems much faster as well
.
Yes this is a winner! Roon now feels as responsive and fast as I have hoped for, for many years! It is SO great an experience now! The lagging is gone - delays between tracks - slow upstart of Roon etc - it is just sooooo nice. For me it is no exaggeration to say that this really adds to the quality of life for me, to be able to enjoy music this way
Thank you for all the hard work
Anyone else having an issue syncing Qobuz library after the update?
Yes, I have over 3k albums in Qobuz, Roon has synced 50 of them.
How bout you?
It looks like they are all syncing right now
Yes! Old ones are good but syncing new ones are not working. Even if I go into services, Qobuz, and I see the sync libraries are blue and trying to activate, nothing happens.
Ok thanks, will keep watching
The new release sucks big time. I have constant drops. It is extremely unstable. Just like the previous release, we were all excited about the performance improvements, only to come crashing down. When will the Roon team learn to test properly before a release. Goodness!!
Agree, and where is stones new album. It’s in Qobuz but not roon
Synced only a few, a ton more needed
Remote iOS app is very quick and responsive so far. Thanks.
Doing my morning search and add of new release was speedy! Incredible job by the roon team on optimizing the search.

One interesting change in the new version on the web–in the past, one could favourite a Qobuz album and it would automatically appear in MY ALBUMS; now, it appears in MY QOBUZ and one needs to manually add it to your albums. Not sure if this is the case with Roon iOS
After the Apple apps have been delivered I can confirm, that the speed of the whole UI and the search has been improved. What has not been changed is the use of RAM on my Mac Mini for the RoonAppliance process. I’m looking forward to see how the memory leaking that could be seen in the past will improve - or not. ![]()
Which Mac Mini do you use for Roon (Intel-based or M1, M2, M4) an how many GB of RAM does it have ?
I also use Roon an a Mac Mini M2 16GB and did not recognize memory leaks yet. Does not mean there are no memory leaks in Roon, but I don’t notice them.
Mac Mini M2 too, but the basic 8 GB RAM model. When started RoonApliance allocates around 1,1 GB RAM and that increases over some days to 1,4 GB or more. Therefore I reboot my Mac Mini every one or two weeks to avoid memory pressure. For me that works fine, since my library isn’t that huge with 10k titles.
