Description of Issue

No music, albums or tracks found, had error saying database needed updating but since then no error messages . How can I completely remove roon and try a fresh install?

Hi @Steven_Taylor ,

Apologies for the delay in response here, are you still seeing this issue at the present time? If so, you can completely reinstall Roon on your Mac with the below instructions:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Delete Roon app in your Mac Applications folder
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
  • Restore from backup
