First thing to check is that the Windows Firewall (or your third-party Firewall) on the PC with the SoundBlaster ZR has an exception for raatserver.exe. If raatserver.exe is being blocked by the Firewall, then the audio devices on your PC won’t be seen by the Core running on your NUC.
This happened to me with this last update, also. I ended up removing the exception then re-adding them.
I then had to go to Settings/Audio and re-enable the PC zones.
My recommendation would to check Settings/Audio first and see if the “this PC” section is showing up.
If it is not then check the firewall exceptions and add them if they are not there or (like in my case) remove them and re-add them. Then go back to settings/audio. It may take a restart of Roon on your PC or the server to get them to show.
Last thing to do would be to re-download the latest roon remote from the link of the release notes and reinstall Roon on the PC. I have had to do this in the past, also.
Thanks all. I just recently reformat my PC and yesterday I reinstall Eset and Roon update. Eset was set at automatic for the firewall and was blocking Raatserver.
Normally I set the firewall to learning mode for a day and after I set it to always ask me for access.
