Roon always prefers 44.1kHz 16bit

Hi Roon-Team,

I need your support. Today I noticed that Roon is always streaming in 44.1kHz 16bit, even if the source material is available in 48kHz 24bit.

My setup:
I’m running Roon Server on a Windows device and streaming to a Bluesound Node N130 streamer connected to a Denafrips Pontus 2 DAC via a AudioQuest Cinnamon COAX RCA cable. My Denafrips DAC is confirming that the incoming signal is always 44.1kHz.

Here is an example. The source material is available in 48kHz 24bit (FLAC). The signal path is showing 44.1kHz 16bit.

Here is my device configuration of the Bluesound Node:

Would be great to be able to stream in high res.

Verify the max resolution settings under Settings/Services

There should be a Tidal section with an edit button.

The image below is from my Qobuz account, but, you should have a similar option under Tidal

Thank you for your response @Rugby. I was not aware that there are additional settings for individual streaming services.

Looks good to me.
