Roon and Windows 10 New built-in Class 2 audio driver

Please confirm you have removed Esoteric’s own USB audio drivers.

Confirmed. In fact, I reformatted and reinstalled windows several months ago and did not install the esoteric drivers at all on this build.

Thanks. Event mode now working here too after updating windows 10 1803.
To be honest, the proper ASIO drivers for my device sounds much better–detail, soundstage, timing. So, I’ll be avoiding the windows WASAPI driver.

I noticed one issue with #roon on my system, Roon no longer showed my Dirac Live or JRiver audio drivers in the output menu. They were showing in Settings/Audio panel as if they were new, and needed to be re-enabled and tweaked (enable exclusive mode and enabling the 5.1 channel mapping). Only the native ExaSound driver and HQPlayer were present when I started Roon.

Just a heads up in case you are wondering why Roon speeds through your playlist without playing anything. It’s a quick fix, but annoying for 5 seconds.
