Is there any straight forward way to connect a Yamaha RX A1080 to Roon? Roon sees other devices on my network but not the RX A1080. Audirvana sees the Yamaha.
You would have to put a device in front of it and feed it a signal from that, it has no roon supported protocols that I can see.
I ran Roon on a Mac Mini so I was able to connect the 1080 to Roon via Airplay. I also connected to Roon via HDMI. Audirvana uses UPNP to connect to the RX1080. I thought that Audirvana with the 1080 was a better fit than with Roon.
