Describe the issue

Clicking on an song in History sometimes makes the app crash on iPad. Also tracks are listed as unavailable in Albums section. These Albums comes from Albums in my Tidal collection and can be played from there but when they also appear in Albums section they should be playable.

Describe your network setup

We have a 1000/1000Gb fiber network connection, an Asus router and a deco mesh network.

Hi @lars1,

Can you please provide the name of an album from Tidal that you encounter as “Unavailable” in the Albums browser within Roon? Just to be sure I’ve interpreted your statement correctly, these albums play without issue in the Tidal native player, but not in Roon?

If you navigate to a track on one of these albums from Tidal in the Roon Tracks browser, is it unavailable there?

It might be the case that Tidal has not exposed part of their collection to their API yet, but the same content has been made available in the Tidal native service. They usually correct these discrepancies within one or two days.

We’ll need to see logs from the iPad affected in order to properly diagnose the crash you’re reporting here. At your convenience, simply open the Roon app on the tablet, and our log request should populate. Thank you!

Hi

Yes, it’s like every album in ”MY LIBRARY” → Albums. For example, “How Dare You” 10CC, “Deceptive Bends” 10CC and “Medusa” Annie Lennox. It seems to be every track on every album. But if I go to BROWSE → TIDAL → “MY TIDAL COLLECTION” → “Favorite Albums” then all tracks are available.

Sorry I don’t see any log requests.

Another problem is that the app keeps saying that Automatic backup: “Scheduled backup failed” but I cannot remove the one in failure. I have made a new one that seems to work, so I just want to delete the one in failure.

Best regards
Lars Bentzen

Hey @lars1,

Thanks for the additional information! From the iPad Roon logs, we can confirm the crash you’re experiencing is a known issue our development team already has a ticket in for, and is actively working on a fix. Thanks for your ongoing patience there!

For your unavailable Tidal albums - do you see this across all your Roon remotes? If you haven’t yet, I’d log out of Tidal in Roon, then reboot your Roon Server machine and log back in, this will trigger a resync and should list all your Tidal content properly.

Failed backups shouldn’t stick around after failure - are you able to share a screenshot of what you’re referring to?

Thank you! :raising_hands:
