Roon app crashing on iPhone 13

Hello. The Roon app on my iPhone immediately crashes upon opening.

I have tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app.

My Roon NUC PC server is working flawlessly and I am able to control it from other devices.

Hi @David_Fischman,

Thank you for the report. We see multiple iPhones in diagnostics associated with your account - at your convenience, can you please:

  1. reproduce the issue on the affected phone at least once; we’ve requested automatic logs that might be able to upload before the crash
  2. share the particular model and iOS version of the affected iPhone here.

Are you able to sign in before the app closes, or does it crash before showing any screen? If the app does open, what is the last screen displayed?

It opens the app and appears to log in then shows the loading icon for the home page for a brief second then blips out and the app automatically closes. Of note, the app still works on my wife’s iPhone but she has not updated it in over a year.

Thanks for the additional info! As a next step, could you please update Roon and Roon Server across all your devices? We’re seeing varying versions of Roon, all outdated, across all your devices.

That fixed it! Thanks! Normally it auto updates with permission so I’m not sure why the prompt to update hadn’t appeared recently.
