Description of Issue

How do I stop the Roon app from lowering the volume of my iPhone all the way down every time I open the app on my iPhone?

I am not using the lock screen control option. My Auralic Aries end point is fixed volume. This was not the behavior in the past and there should be a way to ensure I do not have to worry about my phone being muted every time I open Roon.

I have no interest in using my phone volume controls nor do I want the volume changed when starting the app.

Roon now highjacking iPad volume since update

Hi folks, we’ve made some changes to this behavior that we’re currently testing in alpha. I can’t comment on a timeline for release just yet, but rest assured we are on it! If you’ve been affected by this, go ahead and this post – I might be able to get y’all an early beta preview of the changes when we’re closer to release.
