Hello @Dr_med_Wolfgang_Frit ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Sometimes, when you try to access other device in local network from macOS it can block the connection due to local network access restriction.

In order to exclude this potential cause, can you please try the following:

  • Go to the System Settings on your mac
  • Open Privacy & Security section
  • in Local Network menu please retoggle Roon so it can access devices in local network.

Let us know please if that’s helpful.

    Thanks.

Hi @Dr_med_Wolfgang_Frit,

Diagnostic logging (activated upon receipt of this thread request) don’t show a recent connection between your Mac and your Roon Servers.

We’re going to assume you still require some troubleshooting assistance here.

Can you please let us know if you’ve tried toggling local network access on in your MacOS System Settings per the post above? This resolves the vast majority of cases with the symptom you reported.

We’ll proceed from there. Please note this thread will auto-close without any response after a few days. Thank you!
