Got it. Joke aside, you’re still using machines, only analog. I’m not sure why you think analog is more human than digital. If you want to preserve fidelity as much as possible, digital is the way to go - unless you want specific forms of analog distortion.

For a bunch of processing, sure.

For anything really. The sooner you get into the digital domain, the better. Digital doesn’t have the noise additivity issue of analog, as it is immune to interference and thermal noise.

I’m sorry, this is a fun discussion, but I gotta make sure this doesn’t turn into an analog vs. digital sound debate. I’m more than happy to concede that they both have their benefits and tradeoffs.
