Roon ARC app connects, then gets stuck [Investigating]

Ethernet connected RPi Boss DAC & other DAC’s

Number of Tracks in Library

+15.000

Description of Issue

I’m at the stage that I received a positive feed-back in the Roon settings telling me Roon ARC setup is ready.
Loging in the Roon ARC app is successful. But then nothing happens, connection seems to time out, trying to re-connect. After re-connect I get the message “Online and ready”, but nothing happens.

This happens on my home network and when I’m on 4G.

Am I missing something?

This is exactly the same issue as I have and which I posted abut yesterday

@bernardb50, one quick question for you. By any chance, do you have TAGs in Roon which contain Genre objects in them?

Yes, I had some but we don’t really use them so I deleted them.
Roon ARC now works in my home network and on 4G!

Understood. So, removing TAGs made Roon ARC work for you. Good to know. We will investigate this case further, though.
