Description of Issue

I managed to get my Roon Server ARC ready (The Roon ARC pane under Settings says “Ready”), but the Roon ARC app on my iPhone says “Couldn’t update your Roon Server”:

And my Roon Server should be up-to-date, because the Mac client doesn’t say that there is any update to the Roon Server available (and in the past the Mac client reliably told me about updates to the Roon Server).

What’s going wrong and how can I fix this?

Both of these are very outdated. The current versions are as follows. Most likely your ARC app is up to date and expects the current Roon Server build 1368 (or anyway a similarly recent one), not the very old build 1324 that you have.

That was it: My server was outdated (but my client was only telling me after I had gone to the about page and not during normal play back…)

Now Roon ARC is working: Actually right now I am in the office 15km way from my Roon Server at home and I am listing to one of my good old CDs.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious!
