I have another ARC issue, this is a new one on me.
ARC app states “Your core is not configured for access outside your network” (again zzzz)
However, Roon core shows Roon ARC can securely access your Roon server.
Logged out, back in, uninstalled, reinstalled etc.
Running my Core on a Rock pc
My subs expires next week all the Roon issues I have ever had are ARC-related which was the main reason for my purchase, if I cannot fix this easily I think that will be it for me.
Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling the ARC app? Your first post seems to be saying so, but I’m not sure it includes ARC. In the past this often helped when this error happened even on wifi. I believe this was fixed, at least largely, but who knows.
Note that you will lose all downloads in ARC by doing so
Thanks for your update. We may very well have a fix for your issue that is currently living in the early access, which will soon be pushed to the production build you are currently on.
I don’t have any immediate next steps for you outside of waiting for our next update, and seeing if you still run into connectivity issues over cellular data.
I will follow up to check in on how things run at that time.
I doubt you’ll get a date for that It was released in the Early Access track just yesterday and volunteers are pounding on it. There are new features as well. I suppose it depends on what needs to be improved and other factors, and not even Roon themselves can really know right now. But based on previous cycles, weeks maybe?
Do you have a VPN enabled, either on the phone or on your home network?
The symptoms you’ve listed so far are consistent with users who have either a consumer VPN (Mullvad VPN, NordVPN, or similar) or an enterprise-grade network (like workplace or university WiFi).
