The basic problem is that I have a Sony WM1ZM2 Walkman and it's basically new. This is actually my second one, and that one was also in new condition. I've installed ARC and the Roon App. I've never gotten ARC run once; it immediately crashes every time I've tried. The Roon App is unstable but runs most of the time. It crashes occasionally, sometimes on start up, and more times than not the UI doesn't render completely. I've been trying since the summer, and I've even tried the beta versions, and I'm having little success in resolution. I can help troubleshoot the problem, but I don't know where to start.
Describe your network setup
I have comcast Xfinity internet, it uses an XB6 gateway. My android phone works fine.
