Describe the issue

Switched the router from fritz.box to newest fritz.box. Did a backup and loaded it in the newest fritz.box. Everything is exactly the same as it was with the old fritz.box book, where arc was running perfect. Now that the new fritz.box runs arc can't find a connection the my room server : Network error 504 it says and much more. Completely annoying

Describe your network setup

Hi @Niclas_Muller,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. The error you posted means that Roon wasn’t able to set up port forwarding automatically, so here are your options:

  1. The easiest solution is to skip port forwarding altogether and use Tailscale to connect ARC to your server. You can follow this guide to set it up.
  2. If you prefer, you can manually configure port forwarding on your router instead. This article walks you through the process.
