Roon ARC login issue on new Android phone (ref#MUQ7T2)

Hello,

I hava a new phone. I installed roon and this is working fine. I first downloaded arc from the Google store. This app did not work. I found out i need the apk from roon so downloaded this. I was now asked to login. Here something is wrong because nothing happened, the screen recwas a message with a link for when there was no progress. Nothing happened. One step back took me to the arc page with a statement in red that something went wrong.

I do not now how to get arc working. My last android phone worked fine. I have a lifetime subscription.

Describe your network setup

I use a asustor AS5402T server for roon. Its connected direct to a fritzbox 7590 router witch is connecter via optic fibre tot my provider. I use PiHole as an add blocker. I use a tablet from Xiaomi also on android version 14. Arc worked fine on this unit. My phone is a Google pixel 8a on android 15

Thanks for reaching out to ask us about this issue. ARC sign in is supposed to open a browser window for you to log in with. From your description it sounds like that step was not reached. Do you have any popup blockers on your phone? If so please disable it to log into ARC. You can reenable it after logging in with no problem.

I solved the problem by rebooting my phone. After this arc stated normal and works without issues.
