Describe the issue

I am not connecting to ROON. Under SETTINGS in ROON ARC I have a message that says "NOT READY". It says to Start Troubleshooting which I did but it did not resolve the issue. I noticed that the ROON SERVER IP is 192.168.2..19. I play my music through a Bryston BDP2 music server. The IP on it is 192.168.2.20. Could that be the reason ROON is not connecting. If so, how do I change the IP no.

Describe your network setup

My modem is a Giga Hub 55000

Do you see anything in the “diagnostics data” window? If so, can you “copy” and paste it into a post?

Also, have a look here to see if anything helps:

Hi @p2poirier,

Let’s clarify which app and which endpoint aren’t working for you. You mentioned a Bryston BDP2 - are you using Roon and attempting to add this device to your Roon ecosystem as a Zone?

Keep in mind ARC is only for on-the-go use outside of your home network, and the Settings → ARC page only concerns port forwarding setup. If your issue is with Roon alone, then I’d first recommend restarting both the Bryston and the RoonServer machine. The IP addresses you’ve shared indicate that you have a single subnet, which is good. Check that any firewalls on your various devices have safelisted Roon.
