Description of Issue

Hello. I have been able to only occasionally use ARC. (Like three occurrences lasting minutes when off the Wifi.). Part of this could be I access ARC via my iPhone using T-Mobile (Have I read of some compatibility issues with T-Mobile?)

I do not speak Modem. My son has assisted me when in town. Thoughts how I can get Roon ARC to reliably work with my system? Thanks! Barry

It seems to me you need to enable uPNP in your modem.
You need to login to the router interface in your web browser and check uPNP is turned on and/or you have port 55000 open in port forwarding.

Hello Damian. Thanks for your reply on this. Is this where I add the port forward? I see Roonimac is already there. Sorry, but this is alien to me. Barry

No, this is your firewall settings. But yes, if you have activated it, you should add Roon to the list. I suggest reaching out to Roon support to get specific instructions for adding a port forward to your modem/router. It usually resides under advanced network settings menu.

Okay. Thanks Damian. Between your help, Roon guides, my modem manual, and my Son, Arc is now (again) working for me. Wow, this is way beyond intuitive for me. Okay, time to play the music!
