This is a follow up to an existing post that I made in June, regarding an issue with ARC where playback of Qobuz tracks in ARC on mobile data will break after one song.
Toggling airplane mode will fix the issue for a song or two, then playback will break again. When this happens, roon will show the progress indication on the play button before eventually giving an error of "poor connection". I have since switched to a Fold 7 and still see this behavior, but occasionally if a qobuz album is played without skipping around, playback works for a few tracks.
I've popped my Sim back into my iPhone 13 Pro and can confirm playback still works fine on iOS.
I've tried setting up tailscale and seem to have the same issues.
Has there been any updates on this? Respectfully, Roon should consider a different solution for support requests, as closing issue threads 12 days after inactivity, then hearing nothing for three months, isn't a good experience for a product people pay a lot for.

I have merged your post with the original thread. Please note that @noris said, “we’ll let you know once we have more details to share.” The thread would be reopened at that time.

Thanks for letting us know that this behavior is still ongoing. I don’t see any new activity on the development ticket, but I’ve just requested an update from the team. Once I hear back from them, we will reach out again with the current status and let you know if there’s anything else needed to proceed. Thank you.
I’m writing in to let you know we haven’t forgotten about this issue! Progress has been slower than we’d like to admit, but I wanted to let you know we still have a ticket in the queue with development.
Thank you for your very long ongoing patience here. I hope to have more information to share soon
Thank you for your gracious demonstration of patience as the team worked behind the scenes.
To clarify what’s happening, the team has identified a pattern of failures with ARC and the Qobuz API when streaming data is served through certain content delivery network (CDN) edge nodes. We’re working through the list of potential failure points to pin down and eliminate the vulnerability.
As soon as we have a next step, a potential fix, or a workaround that can prevent the “poor connection” error, we’ll post here.
Just to keep you posted before the weekend: the investigation is still proceeding, but we unfortunately can’t promise a fix in the upcoming Early Access release. We will, however, keep you posted here as soon as we have an anticipated timeline to a release which you can test.
Also checking in. Still having the issue to various degrees. Sometimes a song or two plays from qobuz, sometimes not even one full song plays. It always breaks after a few songs though.
I’ve played with my networking configuration to no success. Seems like a caching issue of some kind in the ARC app itself.
Really hoping for a fix soon, having to grab my phone, go into the versions menu, then switch to a tidal release isn’t easy to do while driving.
We don’t have any updates to share yet - as @connor mentioned, we’ll be the first to notify you directly once any progress has been made.
Unfortunatly, things are moving slower than expected, but our development team has a ticket in and all the information they need to continue to move forward.
I’m sorry for the long wait here, we’ll be in touch as soon as we can be.
Really hoping for some news soon… Roon ARC has been basically unusable for me when not on wifi. No playlists, many of my local files have started saying “corrupted media”, but tidal playback still works.
The majority of my library is on Qobuz and that is the default in my setup, making things very broken.
With the latest update to Roon ARC, Qobuz has gone back to the previous behaviour and no longer works again! Early testing shows its even worse now as I can’t play back anything at all really.
So after this having been fixed, its now broken again with the latest build.
