Roon ARC on iOS reports server accessibility issue repeatedly (ref#RQSU98)

Hey @Andre_Muller,

Thanks so much for the update and additional details!

Could you please reproduce this behavior and share a more specific date and time of when the issue occurs? From there, we’ll take another look at Arc / Roon Server diagnostics for further analysis.

Thank you!

Hello @Andre_Muller,

We wanted to check in with you since we haven’t heard back in some time, are you still seeing this issue? If so, please let us know the timestamps that Ben requested above (local time + date when the issue occurs), and we can look over diagnostics for clues, thanks!

Roon Server : 2.58 (build 1608) : on Linux Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)
Roon Remote App : 2.58 (build 1608) : on MacOS 15.7.3
Roon Remote App iOS : 2.58 (build 1606) : iOS 26.3
Roon Arc iOS : 1.72.384 (build 384) : on iOS 26.3

Thank you for your inquiry. I can confirm the following:

  • Issue with Roon ARC iOS reporting a server accessibility issue and associated corrupted download library forcing reinstallation of the Roon ARC app did not occur anymore since november/december 2025. So this issue seems to be solved for all our iOS devices (for the moment).

  • New reported issue about starting up Roon ARC iOS app when connected to the local WiFi, where Roon Server is in, tearing down all (local) running Roon Remote connections and running playback sessions twice in sequence in about 1 minute after starting up Roon ARC iOS (which iOS device is not relevant). This issue does not occur when the iOS device is connected only to an external 4G/5G mobile connection (thus external from the local network LAN). All local playback sessions and Roon Remote connections are steady, while at the same time playback from Roon ARC iOS is working. This issue also persists by updating iOS 26.3. We made test today before updating from iOS 26.2 to 26.3 (2026.02.12 at 09:06:XX Europe/Zurich timezone) and after accomplishing the update (2026.02.12 at 09:26:16 - 09:28:XX Europe/Zurich timezone).

best regards
