· Roon just updated Roon Bridge to the latest version. Now I cannot play music via Ropieee / Raspberry 4 / Hifiberry dac anymore!

Are you still running 2.58 (production) or 2.59 (early access) of Roon Server? If so these versions are not compatible with version 2.60 of Roon Bridge.

You need to update your Roon Server to the latest production version (2.60).

I’m on early access 2.59 (1625). Normally I get an update to the latest versions (2.60?). This is not offered automatically now…

Early Access 2.61 is now available and will work with Roon Bridge 2.60 if you want to go back to the Early Access builds:
