Description Of Issue

  1. Roon can’t load Overview screen due to Tidal.
Issue was constant. On Roon forum it was suggested to relogged to Tidal account. After doing so the issue did change:

  2. Roon can’t connect to Tidal at all.
    Issue is constant.

  3. The loading circle shows at Overview and when looking at Tidal favourites, etc

  4. Spinning circle appears when Tidal account in Settings

Things working normal:
• With tablet or PC the albums and artist can be viewed.
• Albums can be played, even albums from Tidal, played before.
(Apparently Roon makes a off-line copy of the albums, which is energy friendly. My audio supplier claims Roon always use direct streaming, so the use of the ability to create of-line files from the streaming service is a rather unknown feature, but important for both quality and energy saving (less load on internet and data centres. Roon could flag this green feature!)

Could you restart Roon Server, from Apps/Roon Server, and see if Tidal then connects?

Hi @Sjaak_Damen,

As Tony suggested, can you try restarting RoonServer and let us know if that helps?

Is the Core connected to the Netgear WiFi extender? As we note in our Networking Guide, we typically recommend against these kinds of devices. If you connect the Core directly to the main router is there any change?

Hi Dylan, Tony,
issue is solved.
Restarting the apps RoonServer and Roon Ready did not make any difference.
Running the Diagnostics did not indicate any issue.
After rebooting the Core, the connection was losed for some time, but next day the connection was back without doing anything. It works fine now.
Thanks for your help.
