Description Of Issue

it used to work OK and recognized my device without problem. Now it cant see it. I rebooted every thing many times. I even uninstalled Roon and reinstalled it. If I ask to configure in the settings it searches for devices for ever without stoping. Both Roon and Windows had recent updates (I think the problem started after those…)

Windows updates can reset the firewall and anti-virus settings. Check to verify that the Roon applications including the RAATserver are still allowed through the firewall. See: https://kb.roonlabs.com/Why_can’t_Roon_Remote_Connect%3F

Hello @Louis_roy,

@Rugby is correct, this sounds like a firewall or anti-virus issue at first glance.

Could you provide a screenshot of the Settings > Audio screen in Roon? You can follow these instructions to get the screenshot attached to a reply post
