Description of Issue
Finds Nucleus and works OK sometimes, but other times it can’t find the nucleus. I have checked and remade several connections when it first occurred yesterday, but still no luck then. This morning it was working fine but now it isn’t. The choose Roon core window shows the Nucleus as ready, but can’t connect/
To add to the mystery, it just connected. (This is several hours since the most recent unsuccessful attempt.
This isn’t a reply, it’s an update on the condition. I was too optimistic when it finally connected aa couple of days ago. It hasn’t connected since then. I’ve tried some of the troubleshooting suggestions from other posts on this topic, including unplugging the power a couple of times. When I open the app I get the window to choose my Roon core, with the options being the nucleus or creating a core on my iMac. When I choose the nucleus, at first there is a red dot beneath the Nucleus figure, then it goes to initiating and the to ready, with a green dot. When I hit the connect button, it goes into the endless attempting to connect routine. Eventually I get the "Uh oh somethings not right " message with the option i to select another core. When I hit the select button, I again get a window with the Nucleus and the option to sett up a core on my iMac. When I choose the Nucleus it agains goes into the endless search. At the ethernet port on the Nucleus, there is a solid yellow light at the left of the port and a flashing green on the right.
