I installed Roon Server on my Linux desktop, and have installed the Windows client software in Bottles. However, I’m stuck trying to log in to the client. It successfully opens a browser (Firefox) outside of the bottle, but when I click my account on that window, it just sits at the “Redirecting, please wait…” page. The Windows application never receives the signal.
If you type in Bottles in the search while in this section you get several previous discussions that might be helpful

For logging in you have to copy the callback link, and launch the exe with the link as an argument.
Or use a supported phone or tablet to login.
I tried adding the URL as a launch parameter in Bottles, but either it needed a key that I don’t have (i.e. key=url) or something else went wrong. I followed the thread posted by @Rugby, but ran into the same problem; I’ll follow up over there to see if anyone knows how to get over this hurdle.
I also installed the regular Roon app on my phone, but it is stuck at “Connecting…” even though it sees my server (after I provided the IP address).

systemctl status roonserver -
Is your phone on the same network?

Which linux? Any firewall?
I fixed it by redoing my UFW rules (I’m on CachyOS) using this thread. I forgot to check the Bottles install of the Windows client; it’s working now! No need to log in. Everything seems to work fine. Thanks all.
