My Roon-certifed device does not show up as an audio source. I cannot enter the IP manually.

Describe your network setup

IoT devices on their own network, the rest on main net. mdns reflector between the two. Firewall between.

I’ve got the IP of my Roon-ready player, where can I enter it? Since autodiscovery does not work at all.

@Emil_Kristensen, can you post a screenshot of your Roon Server’s Audio tab? Roon does not allow for manual entry of devices. Also, can you please provide more details about your network and the devices (Roon Server, Roon Remotes, Roon endpoints) that all should be on the same network? Additional information on your Roon devices and your network will be helpful.

I got it working with broadcast forwarding. Why does roon not use mDNS? :confused:

TL;DR is this I guess: Talking to Roon from another VLAN (I got it working)
